The original split-leg pottery apron has been such a hit we knew we wanted to make it in a cross-back version. Here it is! Our linen smock apron has two patch pockets, a pen pocket, and a cross back with no ties to worry about. It has two panels in the front that overlap to create a split for ease of movement. Whether you're at the pottery wheel, tattooing, or any other activity, it's comfortable and one of our best wear-it-all-day cross-back smock aprons.
This comes in two sizes: small/medium & large/extra large
Arrived quickly. Expensive, but beautifully stitched, lightweight material. Fits very well...no "apron ties".
I love the split-front design that helps avoid trapping material that would pull on her when she sits, but still protects her pant legs from paint drips. Just a great addition to other high-quality set-up that she uses.
This apron is hands down the best I have ever found for doing Ceramics and I have tried many in my 38 years of working with clay. Many aprons in this style are just too baggy but not this one, it’s perfect.
Needless to say, I am a devotee of Erika and Portland Apron Company. She makes the best aprons, and uses amazing fabrics. I wear an apron all day every day, and was lucky to find Portland Apron because these aprons are comfortable, durable, wash really well. When I saw that Erika was offering a split leg smock version, I had to have it. It's a great length and the split really enhances the utility of this apron. I can gather up the ends and load it up with glass canning jars, apples, laundry, etc and get where I need to go with fewer trips. Same for the smock and Japanese apron styles. Another reason these work really well for me is because I can't have pressure on my upper spine. These aprons are wonderful! Thank you, Erika!!
