The Block Smock Japanese apron is loved for its ease and dress-like appearance. Our Japanese cross-back apron is a cross-back apron that makes a great layering piece, has two roomy patch pockets and comes in four sizes (please see size guide for specifics on sizing).
FABRIC: The fabrics we use for our linen Japanese aprons and home goods are always made from natural fibers and eco-friendly textiles. The majority of them are also certified organic.
CREATION: All Portland Apron Company products are designed, sewn, and packaged in the USA. We work directly with our small sewing partner to ensure quality-made goods and an ethical work environment for all.
CARE: Wash and dry on low to medium heat (or hang dry when possible).
SHIPPING: Items ship 1-3 days after an order is placed.
RETURNS: Returns on unused items within 30 days are happily accepted.

Great apron. Slips off/on easily once you figure out the straps. Nice, big pockets. No ties to fiddle with. Also, doesn’t fall forward when you bend at the waist.

I have pondered purchasing this style of apron for 5 years and decided to go for it. To say I love it, is an understatement! The apron is so well made…absolutely incredible in every way. I will be ordering again in other colors! Looks professional with leggings and a T-shirt. Incredible pockets for pencils and odds and ends!

I was looking for an apron that provided full coverage but is lightweight because summers here in Southeastern Virginia are brutal. That it is easy to launder, an all natural fiber and a beautiful color just make it that much better.....

It took me a while to find the perfect apron but now I have and I will never buy a regular apron again. Since receiving mine as a gift, I have purchased 3 more for family & friends ;-) Portland Apron's Japanese Smock no-strings fit is stylish, functional and the apron just gets better with each wash. Super quality, great fabric and outstanding customer service! I’m sure there will be a few more in my future! Thanks.
